Description of the different oscillation types

By sanding and polishing the surface with the sinusoidal oscillation, an even better high-gloss surface is created that meets the highest demands. Here you find a description of the different oscillation types.

Conveyer Belt Oscillation

The polishing and sanding machines can be equipped with a simple sinusoidal fixed frequency conveyor belt oscillation that moves in the forward direction of the conveyor belt. By these oscillating movements, the surface is evenly sanded or polished as if by hand. The machines with only conveyer belt oscillation have an output of up to 60 square meters in 8 hours.

Mechanical tool head oscillation

With the mechanical motorized frequency-controlled tool head oscillation, the tool head for sanding and polishing is additionally moved sinusoidally over a 20 mm long translation axis in the feed direction of the conveyor belt. The frequency can be set continuously via the graphic 7 "control terminal.

Since the tool head oscillation works independently of the conveyor belt, the belt can run at a higher machining speed than with belt oscillation. At the same time, the sanding or polishing result is improved again, so that the achieved quality meets the highest demands. The output of the machine increases compared to the belt oscillation from 60 square meters to up to 80 square meters in 8 hours.

Superimposed transport belt and tool head oscillation

For a few extremely high-quality applications, super imposement of conveyer belt and tool head oscillation can be advantageous. However, it must be taken into account that the output of the machine compared to pure tool head oscillation is again reduced to approx. 60 square meters in 8 hours.

More options

Vacuum table over the entire working width

The machines are equipped by default with a vacuum table, which gives more security against twisting when sanding and polishing small parts. The standard vacuum table with five rows of holes has a length of 220 mm, a width of 280 mm, is installed in the middle under the tool head and is designed for connection to the exhaust system.

The machines can optionally be equipped with a vacuum table over the entire working width. This option is especially recommended when several small parts placed next to each other or very thin parts <6 mm are to be machined.
This vacuum system is equipped with a side-channel compressor, which is a stronger alternative for connection of the vacuum table with the exhaust system.

Machine housing (Machinery Directive 2006/42 / EC)

As an option, the machines can be equipped with a machine housing.
- Attention! - Without the optional machine housing, the machines must be provided on site with a protective device ! Without machine housing or protective device, the machines do not comply with the Machinery Directive 2006/42 / EC. (No CE marking)
