| The
CS 5000"carpet" trimming system is installed directly
behind the deepdraw/membrane press in a furniture component
production line. The entire press charge ("carpet")
with laminated workpieces is lifted out of the press, flipped
over and then transported into the CS 5000 - completely eliminating
the need to pretrim the parts.
Once the size and position of the part - even
if contoured - has been read by the image processing system,
the CS 5000 trims the part directly out of the carpet. The CS 5000 makes it possible to fully automate press
lines from the lay-up in front of the press all the way to
quality control.
